These terms describe the use of the current website. Autologica offers no personal advice, pre-purchase checks or guidance through this site. The book cannot yet be ordered online; before sales start, these terms will be supplemented with the seller and the terms of sale. This English text is a convenience translation; in case of differences, the Dutch version prevails.
1. Application
These terms apply to the use of the Autologica website, including the free licence plate check, the test-drive forms, the buying guide and the lease calculator.
2. Information, not advice
The website provides general information, explanations and estimates based on the book Autologica and public data. This is not personal advice about a specific car, not a pre-purchase inspection and not tax, legal or regulated financial advice. No credit product from any particular provider is recommended. An indicative lease calculation is not a quotation or a commitment of acceptance.
3. Sources
The website uses public registers such as the RDW and data you enter. External data may be incomplete or delayed. Missing records do not prove that damage, repair or another incident has not occurred. Verify the chassis number (VIN), the identity and authority of the seller, the condition of the vehicle and the final purchase and financing terms yourself.
4. Your decision
You decide independently whether, from whom, for what price and on what terms you buy, sell or finance a vehicle. Autologica gives no guarantee regarding future vehicle value, maintenance costs, suitability, financing acceptance or the absence of defects. An independent physical pre-purchase inspection remains sensible.
5. The book
For a future online sale of the book, the seller, the total price including VAT and shipping costs, delivery, the statutory warranty, the right of withdrawal and the returns process will be clearly stated before payment. This sales function is not yet active. These terms do not limit any statutory consumer rights.
6. Liability
The information on the website is compiled with care but may contain errors or omissions. To the extent permitted by law, Autologica is not liable for damage resulting from the use of free information or estimates on this website. This limitation does not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness, or where mandatory law excludes a limitation.
7. Complaints and governing law
Submit a complaint with a sufficient description as soon as possible after discovery, so that the facts can be investigated. This does not affect statutory rights. Dutch law applies; the competent court is determined in accordance with the statutory rules.
