What data does the current free buying guide use?

Current situation
The free licence plate check, the free test drive form and the calculator do not require an account; only the extended test drive form requires signing in and is limited to invited testers. Reports or books cannot yet be ordered through this site. This statement describes the data flows of the current version; before forms or payments are introduced, it will be supplemented with the actual controller, contact details, suppliers and retention periods. This English text is a convenience translation; in case of differences, the Dutch version prevails.

Who is responsible?

Autologica is an initiative of Mehrad Xerxes Hosseini. He is the point of contact for the current content and set-up. The legal contracting party and a business privacy contact will be published before personal data for orders are collected through this site.

Which data goes where?

Transfers outside the EU

Vercel, Neon (part of Databricks) and Resend are US companies. They process data as processors for Autologica, under the data processing agreement in their terms. The server functions and the database are in Frankfurt and email goes through Resend's EU region, but access from the United States, for example for maintenance and support, cannot be ruled out. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses; Vercel and Resend are also certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. OpenAI and TypeSafe receive only vehicle details, without licence plate, account details or IP address.

Why and for how long?

The licence plate check serves to show the public result you requested; the local checklist serves to remember your progress on the same device. This site sets no central retention period for that local data: it remains until you clear it or your browser removes it. Any future engagement and invoicing data will be subject to a retention policy to be published separately and to the statutory record-keeping obligation. In this version, no marketing profiles are created based on your licence plate.

Your rights

For data that an organisation processes about you, under the GDPR (AVG) you can, among other things, request access, correction or erasure. Not every erasure request can be carried out in full, for example where a statutory retention obligation applies. An organisation must in principle respond within one month. For data on this device, you can clear the checkmarks directly.

Security and third parties

The site uses an encrypted connection. Public RDW data is not presented as a complete damage or ownership record. Do not send identity documents, vehicle registration certificates or other personal documents through channels that are not offered. If report suppliers, a payment provider or contact forms are connected later, their role and the necessary data exchange will be announced in advance.

Questions about the site or your account go through the contact form. The final contact details and supplier agreements for a public ordering process are still missing. This privacy text will be updated before the first online collection of data.
